Robert H. Costello, Jr.
Robert H. Costello, Jr. has been engaged in the practice of law for more that thirty-five years, concentrating his practice in real estate, banking, probate, business and family law. Mr. Costello is a 1965 graduate of Northeastern University and a 1968 graduate of Boston University Law School. He has received Martindale Hubbell's highest peer review rating of AV. He is an approved agent for three national title insurance companies. Mr. Costello is a member of the American Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Massachusetts Real Estate Bar Association, the United States Judge Advocate Association and the Massachusetts Association of Bank Counsel.
Mr. Costello represents institutional lenders in both commercial and residential loan transactions, as well as foreclosures and workouts. He is General Counsel for Middlesex Federal Savings, F.A.. In addition, Mr. Costello represents a wide variety of businesses in connection with initial start-up, mergers, acquisitions and financing.
Augmenting his career in private practice, Mr. Costello served in the United States Army and Massachusetts Army National Guard for thirty-four years. During his military career Mr. Costello held various assignments including The Massachusetts National Guard Staff Judge Advocate, The State Judge Advocate and Massachusetts Assistant Adjutant General, retiring with the rank of colonel in 2004. He continues to serve on the boards of many community organizations.

Richard F. Landrigan
Richard F. Landrigan focuses on litigation in the areas of general tort, workers' compensation, corporate and business, Social Security, family, and criminal law. Mr. Landrigan graduated from Boston College in 1966 and from Boston College Law School in 1973. He is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, Georgia and the District of Columbia. Prior to joining the firm he served for a number of years as trial counsel with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in Atlanta and as labor counsel to Hay Associates, a management consulting firm.
Prior to completing law school Mr. Landrigan served in the Peace Corps in Chile from 1966 to 1968 and with the Agency for International Development in Vietnam from 1969 to 1971. He maintains fluency in Spanish and Vietnamese and for a number of years has worked closely with the Hispanic and Vietnamese communities in the Boston area. He has been recognized for that work as a recipient of the Boston Bar Association's Distinguished Service to Justice Award.
Mr. Landrigan is involved in a number of community service organizations. He is Vice President for Membership and Marketing and sits on the executive board of the Knox Trail Council of the Boy Scouts of America, and also serves his local troop as an assistant scoutmaster. Mr. Landrigan was recently given the Silver Beaver Award by the Boy Scouts of America in recognition of his work in scouting. Mr. Landrigan is a leader in his parish youth group as a teacher and as a leader for a number of years of a biennial trip to a mission in Honduras. He recently completed a lengthy term as a member of the board of trustees of the Boston Archdiocese's central high schools.

Robert D. Costello
Robert D. Costello ("Rob") practices primarily in the areas of commercial litigation, business formation, insurance and contract-related issues. He routinely advises businesses and individuals on breach of contract claims, partnership disputes and consumer protection/93A violations, as well as structuring, operational and asset transfer concerns and commercial leases.
Educational Background: Rob holds a B.A. degree in Political Science from Providence College (1996), a M.A. degree in International Relations Theory from the University of Delaware (2001), and a J.D. from Western New England College School of Law (2006). Prior to joining Costello & Landrigan, Rob worked for three years between graduate and law school on the corporate litigation team of one of Wilmington, Delaware's most prestigious firms, focusing on complex litigation matters involving both U.S. and international businesses.
Rob has been recognized with numerous research and writing awards in the areas of legal theory, legislative issues and international relations, and frequently consults to businesses, individuals and non-profits in both the local area and western Massachusetts. He has tried cases at both the District and Superior Court levels, as well as handled numerous arbitration and mediation proceedings on behalf of Costello & Landrigan's clientele.
