Goretti MonteI have been working on real estate transactions and financing for 30 years, the last 15 of which have been with Costello & Landrigan. I have a very strong understanding of all aspects of title examinations, financing documentation, and coordination of closings. I also handle many aspects of the real estate transaction process, from initial communications with clients, banks, and real estate brokers to the finalizing and recording of all necessary documents. Born and raised in the Azores until the age of 12 when I moved to the States and attended school here in Somerville, I am also fluent in Portuguese. 
Julie DiMinicoI began working at the predecessor to Costello & Landrigan in early 1977 as a part-time secretary. I was enrolled in the business program at Somerville High School at the time. Coincidental with completing my senior year at Somerville High, a position open up at the firm for a full-time secretary. I found the work interesting and decided I would pursue full time work with the firm after graduation. Fast-forward to 2007 (yes, 30 years later) and I am still working for Costello & Landrigan. A former partner of the firm took me under his wing and taught me everything I needed to know about real estate and real estate conveyancing. From there he trained me in their bookkeeping system. Time marched on and I found my work here to be rewarding. When I reached a point where I felt I had learned all I could, I went back to school to pursue my degree in management with the help of my employer. Most importantly, it is the sense of "family" that keeps me connected to the firm. There truly is a sense of family here, a sense of caring that perhaps can only happen in a small firm. I am blessed to be working with such wonderful people and it is a joy to walk into my office each day. The many faces you find at Costello & Landrigan are the same faces that you have seen for years. We are united together as a firm and in our commitment to providing our clients with the best service possible. |
